W. Scott Van Ness
Mr. Van Ness’ primary areas of practice include real estate law, business law and commercial litigation. He currently handles many foreclosure cases and loan workouts for homeowners in distress, as well as other commercial disputes and business formation issues. Mr. Van Ness received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1989 in Finance and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida in 1991.
After graduating from law school Mr. Van Ness spent seven years as an Assistant State Attorney before beginning private practice. Mr. Van Ness has maintained a practice which has handled real estate closings, landlord/tenant issues, foreclosure defense, business formation, contract disputes, and commercial litigation. Mr. Van Ness has lived in the area for over 35 years and is active locally in his church and as a football official.
