Harry Walsh
Harry M. Walsh Jr., who serves our clients in the capacity of a litigation paralegal, and whose time is billed accordingly, is one of our firm’s unique assets. Mr. Walsh received his undergraduate degree from Duke University in 1977 and obtained his juris doctorate from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 1981. After serving as an Assistant State’s Attorney, Mr. Walsh became an associate in a large law firm where he specialized in litigation and served as house counsel for several insurance companies in the field of medical insurance defense. In 1988 he co-founded the firm of Walsh & Phillips, P.A., with practices in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and North Carolina, and for 15 successful years thereafter litigated in numerous fields of law including personal injury, real estate and zoning disputes, business law, family law, criminal defense, insurance and employment law. Mr. Walsh has personally prepared and litigated thousands of trials and hearings, both jury and non-jury, in state and federal courts, many of which received state and national media coverage. In 2003 Mr. Walsh moved to Sarasota with his wife and 2 children and is active in Pop Warner football and Little League. As noted, Mr. Walsh currently serves in the capacity of a litigation paralegal until such time as he has made application for, and becomes a member of, the Florida Bar.
